Behind every Dachshund, a family passion
Located in Beaumont-du-Gâtinais (77890), in the Paris region, La Crème des Teckels is a family kennel dedicated to small-sized Dachshunds, mainly the kaninchen and miniature varieties. The Dachshund was my maternal grandmother's companion, who lived for these small dogs with a strong-willed, bold, self-assured character. That childhood affection became our calling.

Rare colors and rigorous selection
We proudly breed three colors we're especially fond of.
The long-haired cream Dachshund
A light, silky coat with golden highlights, a calm temperament close to its humans. Extremely rare in Europe, this coloring has become our signature.
The dapple Dachshund
A mottled coat blending dark and light tones, so every puppy is unique. Breeding two dapples together is strictly avoided to protect the litter's health.
The piebald Dachshund
A white coat marked with tan, black, or chocolate patches, from a recessive gene inherited from both parents. Still very rare in France.
Miniature and kaninchen sizes
Kaninchen
25–32 cm chest circumference, under 4 kg adult
"Kaninchen" means "rabbit" in German. Chest circumference ranges 25–30 cm for females and 27–32 cm for males.
Miniature
30–37 cm chest circumference, 4–6 kg adult
Slightly larger than the kaninchen, with a chest circumference of 30–35 cm for females and 32–37 cm for males.

What is the price of a Dachshund puppy?
Prices vary by variety, bloodline, and breeder. Expect between 1,500 and 6,000 euros depending on color and bloodline for a puppy from a serious breeder.
How do I reserve a puppy?
Reserving a puppy starts with an initial conversation with the kennel. We answer your questions, check that the puppy suits your household, then the reservation is confirmed with a deposit.
At what age can puppies join their family?
Our puppies can join their new family once they meet the legal age and are ready veterinarily, behaviorally, and administratively. We confirm the expected departure date for each puppy.
Are the puppies vaccinated and microchipped?
Yes. Our puppies leave the kennel microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed, with their veterinary certificate.
Can we visit the puppies at the kennel?
Visits are by appointment only, after an initial conversation with the kennel. This lets us preserve the puppies' calm and properly guide each family through their adoption project.
